COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC RELATIONS

Communications

The Communications Committee is a dynamic group of individuals that cover all communications to the members of our chapter. We work with the different committees to be sure that our members are aware of the opportunities that are available within the FPA Orange County Chapter.

Responsibilities include:

  • Update and maintain the event planning database
  • Print and assemble registration packets
  • Collect CE forms at the Quarterly Education meetings
  • Report CE hours to the CFP Board
  • Manage the chapter website
  • Prepare and email the monthly newsletter
  • Manage the chapter’s social media sites

This is the ideal committee for those that really want to get involved and get to know others in our chapter. You do not have to be a member to join this committee. Administration assistants are also welcome.

We need volunteers of all experience levels to help with sending emails, updating the database, collecting & reporting CE credits and monitoring the chapter’s social media exposure. We are also looking for help with upcoming projects that include upgrading our website. It’s a great opportunity to share ideas and collaborate with your Orange County peers.

If you are interested in any of the following areas: Website Updates, CE Credits, Education Meeting Prep, Social Media, Newsletter, or General Communications, whether it is in the capacity of a full committee member, part-time, or just as an occasional consultant, please contact Kenneth Yee, Director of Communications.
